When you are at the discussion stage with us, you will need to investigate whether planning permission will be required for your house.  While this may not prove to be a legal requirement, it is always best to make sure.

Are you aware of the Building Regulations?

When you plan to erect a new building,  your development must comply with Building Regulations.  Building regulations are designed to ensure that buildings meet national standards for health and safety and access.

If you are inexperienced in building work, it will be advisable to let Fjordhus act as your agent in the application for a building warrant.
